- Coverage, exceptions and applicable rules employment-compliance Determine the employee's real rule set before calculating compliance: hours per month, role, annual earnings, bargaining council, sectoral rules, collective agreements and any lawful variation or exclusion.

- Deductions and benefit funds employment-compliance A deduction needs a lawful basis. Damage/loss deductions require additional safeguards, and benefit-fund deductions/contributions need remittance evidence.
